First time posting since the Waypoint changeover and I keep getting a notice that says:

Anyone else getting this notice and any info as to why would be appreciated.
The automated spam filter is a bit overzealous on new users at the moment. Once you make enough posts it should stop being a problem.
We’re not having fun with it either, since we have to resolve every post the system flags.
Thanks for the info. I see what you mean. I just posted and got a Basic Badge and a notification that my new user status was lifted. Weird since I have had a Waypoint account for years, but I guess with the changeover everyone started from zero again.
Basically, yes. You’re a first timer as far as the new forum software is concerned. I’m not sure whether that’ll change once old post data is transferred over, but currently we’re all new here.
