AI's and AI's in multiplayer!

So imagine we could have AI players in halo 5 multiplayer with them having a certain roll like the soldiers and spectres in titanfall or just be used for those empty player slots either way works. And AI’s! Wait what? I just said that! No I mean AI’s as in halo AI’s! Like cortana! Infinity’s AI pilot! Holograms! Just imagine, we could customize them in there voice tone, hair, body type, gender, height and color! What would there role be? Assisting you in multiplayer for everything. (Not for every game type) like if your playing arena multiplayer your Hologram could appear on screen like cortana did when she was talking to chief in halo 4s campaign and how other characters would talk to you in spartan ops. Let’s say a grenade is near you and about to explode, your hologram would just appear on screen and yell: watch out! Or get out of the way! Also other ways of usage would be like if your teammates are in trouble your hologram would describe the situation like there being raided by the other team or there on the top bridge (the bridge nearest to you or however that can work) and there could be so much other ways for this to work. AI’s (bots and AI’s (holograms) in multiplayer yay or nay? And not all game modes would have them. I suppose there’s always an on/off button for them. Still a new element to the multiplayer is nice.

One scenario where I could see an AI working is in a large scale Sandtrap style battle. Similar to how the Elephant was a mobile base, a large aerial vehicle could also serve as a mobile base. Rather than a player piloting the vehicle, an AI would control the flight path, most likely keeping it in a looping holding pattern. If a player wanted to go somewhere specific, he could designate that point on a map and the AI would take over and bring the ship there.

I haven’t played Titanfall yet but I was always skeptical of the AI players. In Halo, I don’t even want it. I don’t think in multilayer should have it.

I understand. Its up to 343 but AI’s are just a name for what we want I mean AI’s can be more than just multiplayer elements- 343 could be adding a firefight who knows? But really I was focused on the emphasis of AI’s as holograms on how they would work, I used AI’s and AI’s as a catch phrase sorta thing. But still thanks for your opinion.

Players already have a HUD. What would a talking hologram that takes up screen offer that a HUD can’t?

Just a new way for the game to play. I’m not saying anything negative towards armor ability meter, sheilds and radar. I think apon the existence of holograms in multiplayer to be a new value to multiplayer. The new hype for multiplayer. It could work any way you can think it could work. With halo 5 being 1080p I’m pretty sure they can modify the size of the appearance of a on-screen hologram to be smaller than it originally was in halo 4 and opacity of the apperance. However the multiplayer will work there’s always differences for each game type that could have the possibility of having a hologram and those game types set not to have holograms.

well in the Halo 4 campaign we learned that the Halo announcer is an AI in the War Games simulation. So I guess maybe there could be the idea that every spartan has a fragment of that AI with them in the simulation to record their progress and update them on how they’re doing? maybe the form that AI takes is that of medals, so their hologram pops up and changes into a double kill icon when you get it, and so on.
