Air unit issues

It seems like whenever i play the majority of units cant attack air units or suck at it especiall as the banished whicj doesnt help their pre existing air inferiority save for the blisterback but with the rock paper scissors formula shouldnt grunts and marines be green against aircraft instead of yellow because infantry is supposed to beat air and most infantry units cannot even attack air meaning as the covenant (especially given the unsc ai’s tendancy to spam vultures in my experiance) you need reavers which have always seemed to be somewhat underpowered. (Also quick question why cant hunters or cyclops look up?)

If I’m being honest the triangle is kinda broken. Infantry can’t really touch air

One of the reasons why the condor is more powerful than the scarab

I think postcarnage said they were still trying to improve air infantry interactions.

Um, the grunt heavies, when fully upgraded, are green for air, and I’m pretty sure fully upgraded marines are, too.

I really do think all non-melee infantry should be able to attack air.

Heck, they should do what they did with Cannon Fodder and have melee infantry get a special attack that is only used against air units.

Every unit that should attack air already attacks air.

Only exceptions are:
-sniper
-cyclops
-Hunter
-melee units except fodder
-locked down blisterbacks
-locked down kodiaks

Which of these units would you say need to attack air?

I can’t see any reason to change them. We need grunts and marines to be effective against air to complete the triangle, that’s it.
