I’ve noticed recently that my aim isn’t what it used to be, this is probably because I keep changing my sensitivity but blah blah blah. Anyone got any advice or training methods to get my aim better?
practice…
Though I always notice that the more I feel like playing Halo and the more I focus, the better my aim is. So I only really play when I really feel like playing Halo. Though that is not guaranteed when you are used to playing games with horrible aim mechanics such as TESV: Skyrim.
Also, strafing actually helps your aim because you can make minor adjustmens by just moving left and right so your reticle still goes over your opponent.
What would always help me out is a game of Octagon in custom types. It’s usually my go-to for a warm up.
The best thing you can do is relax yourself and be in a good mood. When you play angry or tensed-up, your aim will suffer because you’re trying too hard. When you’re relaxed and having a good time, you’ll find yourself playing better.
Overall, I think the best way to improve your aim is to just keep playing the game. I remember getting my -Yoink- handed to me the first time I played Halo 2 online with other people. Eventually, you will find your playing style, as well as your preferred sensitivity and button layout.
lower your sensitivity. until you play a game and you feel like you’re really slow, then you increase it. ppl get better sensitivity as they play more, if I’ve played for 4 hours straight I usually have to increase my sensitivity by 1, then I usually take a break xD
