Is anyone else really struggling with aiming and was wondering if anyone else is? My aim is pretty good in MCC and I play on the regular settings, however it is awful in Infinite. Sometimes I feel like I don’t ever have aim assist.
it seems a little off at times i cant really tell what it is but for the most part its good not great but good. in my experience on the xbox one S.
There definitely is less aim assist. You really have to lead targets. I am doing the weapon academy and I really seem to aim better if I am moving as well. Covie weapons sure don’t track as well either. I am struggling trying to get three stars with the needler on moving targets.
That’s because aim assist is oddly missing, it’s not just you.

Yeah the aim is pretty wack it feels like a combination of the hard recoil on some guns like the sidekick and commando combined with the lack of aim slowdown. Its really hard to stay on target compared to halo 5 where getting perfect magnum kills was very common.

I treated that like the h3 br. Worked for me at least
Yeah Im comming fresh off of MCC everyday and love infinite but the lack of aim assist is making me not want to play it as much. Ive been seeing numerous posts about the aim assist so heres hoping they buff it up.

yes, treat the BR like H3! I like that there is less aim assist, it’s me making the dome shots. Let’s go!!!
