I found several posts on reddit where people talk about the same issues but for me it seems like my M&K input has some sort of lag or delay. I compared it to Apex and you immediately feel this difference. I play on constant 100 FPS.
This is not about aim assist or bullet magnetism but the input just feels sort of weird. A good explanation is also always after the enemy and I hit melee, I aim after the hit on his body and shoot and the enemy is like 50-70% earlier and kills me but I already hear some shots but not hit registration.
Aiming on both inputs needs a lot of work. It takes veteran players to notice the nuances, the “play for fun” players will never notice or write about it. But it is a big problem for hardcore players. Controller turning sensitivity being restricted to ~340 degrees per second before acceleration is shockingly frustrating.
Do you have the opportunity to go higher with FPS values?
Halo Infinite has some weird setting quirks, it wouldn’t surprise me one bit if your experience has to do with your settings at 100fps (non divisible by 30).
If you could force 120 (set max to 120, then min to 120), you might get a better result.
I can get 120 frames on my Series X and it’s pretty stable when at 110 FOV or lower. There’s only 2 settings for frames, quality or performance. But um, I don’t see how this has to do with base look sensitivity settings or any of the other aiming settings.
