Aiming question

Hey Guys,

So recently I’ve been going back and forth between Claw and regular grip. While aiming with claw, it feels very smooth when pulling the right trigger and moving the right stick. There are other issue with claw as to why I don’t want to commit to that long term (not enough time to practice it for example), but while using a regular grip, the aiming seems to “pause” while I pull the right trigger, then continue while trigger is depressed. Is this because I’m squeezing the controller too tight? Does anyone else have this issue? It makes tracking and shooting an absolute chore. What can I do to fix this (deadzones, etc), or what do I need to practice?

Thank in advance,

Can’t say I have that issue, perhaps you clench your sticks subconciously? Either way, I have not had that issue. I play normal claw when playing ranked, but my settings are 2/2 sens, 3 accel. 0 on both deadzones.

I wish I knew more about your issue man. First time I heard of that.

Thanks for the feedback. I’m not sure what’s going on. When I claw, I notice that I tend to “place” the reticule over the enemy (release the tension on the right stick to neutral… the do small little “flicks” when making adjustments while left stick strafing. When hold it normally, I tend to place the reticule over the enemy… hold tension on the right stick when making adjustments (no flicking) while strafing. It seems to be harder to control the reticule with my normal grip. When someone jump thrusts, my reticule zooms off to the side. Do you know what I mean? Do you aim with any of the methods above?

Bump for any insight…
