Aiming on pc is atrocious, game unplayable for me

im very good at fps on pc. i typically have a positive kdr in most other games so i know its not my skill.
my system can run warzone on high so i know its not my system,
Its hard to explain but it feels like input delay, it makes aiming feel really stiff and awkward, getting off headshots on moving targets is impossible and accuracy in general feels bad. most fights devolve into melee fights and thats not fun at all.
im going to quit multiplayer until this issue is fixed

It’s a common issue, players on MnK frequently point this out

sidekick’s bloom feels so wrong on pc

Yeah, there’s definitely something wonky about the aiming. I play with an Xbox controller on pc and note that I had to do some research online to understand how to adjust my controller settings.

I got it adjusted so that it feels pretty good to me but there is less aim assist than I remember from the previous games. And, it seems like once in a while it goes a little haywire.

I seem to have adjusted to this new system to where it’s “ok”, but I question on numerous points why this game appears to want to alienate the average player.

There are some barriers to entry here that it’s hard to fathom. Limited playlists that all seem equally sweaty, the funky aim thing, cash shop that looks pretty darn predatory, etc.

I’m really enjoying Infinite so I’m hoping that they get this stuff straightened out. I know they’ve announced some new playlists. Be great to see some more maps. Keeping my fingers crossed.

Does seem like there’s something wrong on PC. I have noticed no performance issues on Xbox while on on PC for me it seems like it’s poorly optimised and cause weird movement and at times seems unplayable regardless of settings.

this game has been a hassle for me since day one. all they really need to do is fix this issue that many pc players seem to be having, but im sure this issue is tied to your fps, payday 2 had this issue and so did blackops3. so fixing it seems like much larger of an undertaking than a simple patch, this game really is built on weak foundation’s and its a shame that call of duty has better pc optimization than halo

This small issue wont completely destroy my enjoyment of the campaign but it will be something im constantly reminded of and thats not something i want for “the biggest game of the decade”.

optimization and performance are integral for any actual enjoyment. i quit playing payday2 because of how poorly it ran and the awful input delay
