None of them work though. That’s the problem.
I’m doing mostly fine. But the aiming is definitely messed up. Not sure what they did after the beta. But they definitely screwed something up.

I find nothing wrong with the aim. The magnum doesnt have much aim assist maybe thats your problem
Although I agree that the aiming mechanics in Halo 5 are not good, its possible to be more constructive about it. You should articulate what aspects about aiming mechanics bring negative quality to the game, like this:
The sensitivity drop that occurs off target, as your reticle approaches someone, is both too sever and initiates too far off target. This makes aiming the reticle on target feel extremely sluggish and slow. The reticle feels heavy and unresponsive to player input. The sensitivity drop once on-target is fine. This level of off target sensitivity drop does not assist with aiming, its a hindrance which blocks player input from moving the reticle where they want it.
time-based acceleration creates unpredictable and unexpected moments of reticle lurch. A good aiming mechanic will make input and output consistent, so players can develop the proper muscle memory to adequately control their aiming. time-based acceleration make input and output inconsistent, creating unexpected moments of the reticle lurching farther then desired.
Bullet magnetism is too aggressive. This is computer controlled aiming. This is an unrewarding aspect to the aiming process and removes the value placed on actually aiming well.
The 10 sensitivity in Halo 5 is far too slow. Its significantly slower then previous Halos, and extremely difficult for player who like high sensitivity.
The aiming system is not fine. A huge portion of the Halo community is in agreement on this so it is clearly NOT fine. It is a major problem that, if not fixed, will have me returning the game.

Agreed- a patch is needed to loosen things up some.

The aiming is pure trash. I can’t be precise at all. In warzone its not a huge issue as most people can’t perfect shot you and dontknow how to throw off your aim But hit onyx in arena and man does it become pain real quick. Most people at that rank I’ve played agree that something is wrong because they just don’t have the precision required to hit someone that knows how to strafe and jump.
I would say that I’m a pretty decent player at Halo 1-4 and now I strugle to go positive in Halo 5. My aim is all over the place with this game. I refuse to believe that I’m bad at this game when I could hang with the rest in the other Halo titles. Fix this 343!
