They have tweaked the aiming very slightly. The deadzone is smaller but its still there. So aiming is better but not perfect. (for those affected)
Aiming was weird to begin with. I’m somewhat used to it now so I’m worried about receiving little tweak updates that will keep throwing me off. Should have been right at the start.
Agreed…this is the first Halo game in history to have sub par controls… Its a very worrying sign that they cant even get it right second time round
Was the aiming adjusted with this update?
Might just be a placebo. They said the update for the deadzones isnt coming until december. And they still feel pretty large and in charge.
I don’t feel a difference, but My aiming has been -Yoink- today so I’m looking for an excuse.

I never felt a deadzone. But now it just feels to fast since I got used to the way it was before they tweaked it.

There is a legitimate diagonal traverse bug for some controllers.

Old hardware has nothing to do with it, that’s just what they’re saying. I’ve tried both a new controller from the forza 6 bundle and the new elite and it doesn’t make a difference. The elite is a little better because the amount of customization, thought the aiming issues are still present, just harder to notice.
My aim got a whole lot better. Its off sometimes but eh I’ll manage.
