I love playing halo 4 matchmaking but me and some of my friends have noticed people aimboting their crosshairs will turn red before turning the comer and as long as they shoot in the general direction it counts as a headwind or kill all I ask is that 343 monitors this and when they find people like this they ban them for life because this type of cheating is ruining the game for people such as myself that enjoy fair gaming all 343 has to do is have someone playing matchmaking undercover and watch killcams and that will be the proof
Killcams. Are. Broken.
Killcams are broken, aimbots don’t exist in Halo 4.
If you’re referring to the killcams, everyone should know by now that they are broken.
> Killcams. Are. Broken.
If you are making this assumption by view the killcams, then ignore the kills cams. They are extremely broken at this point in time.
> Killcams are broken, aimbots don’t exist in Halo 4.
Unfortunately, this isn’t true. People have already modded Halo 4 with Aim Bots and a number of other things.

But are they in Match Making?

I encountered a couple last week. It was really noticeable because there were two of them, in the same game, on the same team.
So yes, unless a human can twist around and insta-headshot a target that was almost behind them in less then a second, aimbots are in matchmaking.
Yea man there are aim bots for sure…either that or some kids just have robot thumbs and perfect snipers.
There are no aimbots in matchmaking. I know this for a fact. Anyone who says otherwise really doesnt know what they are talking about and are experiencing lag or getting pwned by someone who is just much better than them.

Sniping in this game is incredibly easy. Its even easier to noscope, theres so much auto-aim on the sniper its ridiculous.
Killcams never work when I actually want to see the kill like how someone gets a 50 ft lunge in flood
As others have said, killcams are broken. I’d rather not have killcams so that we can -Yoink!-
You have to be careful about the killcams and aimbotting. Things like the reticle being nowhere near the shot, as OP described, are most likely due to broken killcams.
I have experienced what I’m 90% sure is an aimbot, however. I was playing BTB in Exile with a few friends and when I got sniped out of the driver seat of the Warthog (I had full shields at the time). I assumed it was a lucky shot until the killcam showed my killer jerking 180 degrees and noscoping me…through the back of the Warthog. I wrote it off as killcam lag until the exact same thing happened, only this time he jerked from teamate to teamate before sniping me through the back again. I’m pretty sure that’s gotta be an aimbot…

This. Mostly because the only people who could do so would have to be bringing a modded xbox online, which is not public knowledge (all public methods are patched), and anyone able to do that is probably scamming kids in CoD lobbies (because it costs money to be able to get back online when you’re banned), but also because there is no such thing as an aimbot for a console. No one creates a low level AI to aim for them, they edit the in-game aim assist values.

I’ve seen my own kill cam, from someone elses film, show me walking in place shooting a floor and them dying. Films are broken as hell, it probably couldn’t figure out who he was aiming at and started twitching.
Also, no modder would edit the magnetism values for the reticule, they would just edit the aim assist. The bullets would always go towards you, the reticule would not (can you imagine how annoying it would be to have your spartan spinning in random directions based on what enemy is closest to you?)
There are aimbot’s and this guy isn’t just going by the killcams. He is talking about when someone gets a bull crap kill and then when you look at the killcam the person who killed you has a red circle for the crosshair. Look it up before you say it’s not real

It’s not hard to snipe someone out of a warthog. I do it pretty consistently and theres people who are much better than me.

Were you dropped on your head as a child? You say “he’s not going by the killcams” and then immediately say “when you look at the killcam…”. The reticule being red for ages IS EXACTLY WHY IT’S BROKEN you idiot. Get the other persons film, the hosts film, and your own, and then you can figure out exactly what happened. Otherwise, stop assuming everything you see is what actually happened, that’s not how networking (or in this case, a mixture of that and a really bad bug) works.

This happens every game. With every person. This is a killcam problem. What about this are you not getting?
