I picked up Halo 5 the day it came out. Immediately I noticed something wrong: I was losing duels, very simple ones. I’ve waited a little bit to see if I was just rusty, no progress in sight. I asked on Waypoint if anyone else had the same issue, and no, I’m not the only one: Aiming is broken. Some noobs told me: Git gud m8. Now I am level 63, and still experiencing the same problem. It is just so twitchy and random, almost unplayable for a Halo regular like me. I have been playing since Halo 3, and I guaranteed everything was fine until then.
I know you won’t fix it, I’m not asking you to. The game was launched almost 3 months ago and it’s way too late to do anything about it. You tried to make us calm down with those inner/outer dead zones… It. Does. Nothing. Muscle memory is something very difficult to ignore, 63 levels later I still don’t get rid of it. So my question is simple: Why did you change it? Are you dumb or something? Is there really someone out there who complained about it before? It’s so irritating for god’s sake!
I’m sitting on my chair right now conceiving how is it possible that a professional company made the conscious decision to pay real persons, lose money, waste time, for such a useless modification.

Had the same issue. When 343 added aim acceleration customization, I slowed mine down to 2 (same as the beta). Problem solved.

I like it too, but OP is right, it’s still very twitchy at times, especially when aiming at a jumping opponent in close range. Even with my settings perfectly adjusted, it’s still not as good as the beta.
