Anyone else notice this? Playing stronghold my aim felt really loose like I raised the sensitivity.
I have. I went from usually placing top to being last every match. I can’t aim anymore and it’s frustrating.
I honestly blame this forum. Since I read into the whole “Halo 5’s aiming is wierd” topic my aim has gone from “eeeh” to “can’t hit the broad side of a Covenant Assault Carrier”. Damn you video game based placebo effect! Damn you to Hell!!! But no seriously I can’t aim to save my life now.
All you need is more playing time. You’ll get it 
My son and I have both noticed that sometimes the controls feel sluggish. I wonder if it’s subtle lag. Maybe not enough to be able to count to 2 before your grenade leaves your hand when you throw it (lag is obvious then), but just enough to make you miss shots and be half a second slower in reaction time. It’s hard to pin down because I have good aim days and bad aim days, and I know it’s me but since around Christmas there have been games that lag was horrible. It would make sense that there would be varying degrees of connection quality. Some just degraded enough to affect your aim but not noticeable otherwise.

Lag MIGHT just be a factor but I have terrible aim even when the connection is Grade A perfect. Again, I’ve never been a superb shot in Halo but I’ve been able to mostly manage but now I’m happy if I can hit half of my shots.
With luck it’s 343 trying to match players without lag to other of us with it at make it a fair a level playing field ???
