Aim Sensitivity Broken

So, with the (failed) release of the MCC, I kind of gave up on Halo until the Beta Released. When said Beta became available to the public, I decided to pick up Halo once more, because I love me some Halo, and I’m pretty -Yoinking- good at it. So why not, right? Every company deserves a third chance.
Well, when I got into matchmaking, everything was going about as smooth as a Beta could go, and I was actually enjoying myself, running kids over with the AR and the OPSMG. After a few matches, I started to locate the precision weapon spawns, and tried my best to utilize them, but to my surprise, like magic, I sucked. So I thought nothing of it, every body gets cold after a month of not playing a game.
So I continued playing, and was having a good time. Until the team balancing seemed to kick in, and I was getting matched with golds, onyx’s and a few semi-pros. Everyone was precision hungry, and I couldn’t do a thing. I kept getting Out Br/DMRed, and I couldn’t figure out why.
Until I had the sudden premonition, that my faithful ‘3’ sensitivity that I have been using since Halo 3, was no longer the same anymore. So I went to the master chief collection, started up matchmaking, and tested my hypothesis. Turns out, I was absolutely correct. My BR could not have been more vicious in the games that I played. One game of Halo 3, and another of H2A.
So I thought to myself, It couldn’t be the aim assist, right? Cus’ I still pwn nibs in Halo 3.
Right. I fired up a custom game, stood where I spawned, and slowly did a few 360’s. Tilting my thumbstick to different extremes. After I was sure I knew as much about the sensitivity that my brain had become accustomed to over 6 years of Halo, I started the Beta again.
This time, I got into a match, stood in the back of the map, and tested the sensitivity again. And it is different. Oh so very different. Clunky even. If you tilt the thumbstick say, 15% down, that’s comparable to tilting it about halfway down in the old Halos.
So my question for you, 343i, is why? Why change the last and only skillgap I still have over new players. Please consider changing it back for ole’ Gravity. That would please me greatly.
And others, do you notice the sensitivity, or am I just nitpicky and my muscle memory is destined to never change?

I think you are nitpicking. Halo 5 has very little aim assist and I think thats what you are really comparing it to.

Not necessarily, Halo 3 has very little aim assist as well, and I mow people down just fine on it.

Well aim acceleration and or dead zone is screwed. it needs to be fixed ASAP. If not fixed or a toggle added within 2 weeks this game is over

Yeah dead zone is definitely different. But I’m pretty casual on halo.

Lol.

Please test it on by aiming back and forth over another player. The aim assist is on par with Halo 2.
