Aim issues on PC controller

Aim on controller for PC feels off and clunky, partially because there’s no aim assist whatsoever. And there’s no modern aim option. That’s my only issue with the multiplayer balance aside from maybe turning up the TTK and toning down the range of automatic weapons. Everything else is phenomenal.

That’s definitely not an issue I’ve been experiencing, you probably go submit a bug report over at the Halo Support site.

Okay, so I’ve got something to add here. There’s definitely a bug with Aim Acceleration on PC right now. I’ll have sessions where I can spin so fast I end up doing 360s on 2 sensitivity. I think it’s got something to do with Aim Slowdown, because whenever an enemy comes close to center of the screen I notice the bug happening. It basically feels like there’s no aim assist because your reticle will fly right past them.

Aside from that issue, there isn’t much Aim assist in the game at all, which I actually quite like. There’s enough where aiming doesn’t feel like a total detriment, and there’s good room for a skill gap. That being said, why is there bloom too? The combination of low slowdown with tight magnetism and recoil, all bundled together with random bloom is a weird decision. I’m having fun, but there’s totally moments where shots go wild as my reticle lurches up in gunfights. Lots of nuances in the aiming this time around, and some of them I’m pretty excited to see!

We’ll see how this all turns out come monday when players are against eachother, then we can really see how MnK stacks up to Controllers
