Yo they really need to get rid of aim assist on the Xbox. I play on PC and it clearly shows a difference, I can tell when someone is playing on a controller rather than a keyboard cuz of that -Yoinking!- aim assist. It’s garbage they need to balance out the cross compatible platform.
You start yelling, “Uh, what! Controlla Playa!” No, but seriously, they won’t get rid of aim assist. Sorry.
I play only on Xbox and I hate Aim Assist. I turn it off whenever I can due to it being more annoying than helpful. I miss more shots when it’s on than off.

No. Aim assist is needed for stick aiming because of how blunt and imprecise it is. But on PC with a ps4, switch pro controller and steam controller, you can use gyro aiming. Which is better in my opinion. But it’s a shame I can’t turn off the aim assist in all but CE’s campaign. I do prefer gyro aiming without the aim assist
I just hope they give us the option to turn off the aim assist. This really shouldn’t be an issue. More options can only be a good thing

I’m just glad they’ll be aim assist options on PC with Infinite. That way its even across all platforms.
You can be so much more precise on PC anyways.

Precise? Have you not been listening to any of the complaints going around the community of the huge advantage controller players have? No hate against them obviously, I grew up as an avid Xbox player. But you can clearly pick out whos playing on PC and whos playing on a controller in multiplayer game modes. It sticks out like a sore thumb because of the heavy aim assist. Some of the pros don’t even aim accurately and they let the aim assist do the work for them. I just want there to be aim assist for everyone, or no aim assist for everyone. Simple as that.

the aiming aid on computer when using an xbox controller is really better than on xbox.
