You’re kidding, right? The aim assist is nuts… It’s been awful since halo 2… Needs to be like Halo: CE
Aim assist is the most unskilled thing in any FPS, don’t bring it back in the game!

I think it’s perfect with close to no aim assist. Reminds me of halo 3 and CE. The only weapon I could get close to feeling aim assist with was the sniper, other than that it seems to not even be there, which is a very good thing.
There’s plenty of it still there. I’d say the level of aim assist that this game employes is the best thing they could have done to the Halo series. I’m actually okay with people using Assault Rifles now, because they actually need to be able to aim it to some degree. Weapons feel challenging to handle and decently rewarding to get perfect kills with.
It might be challenging right now to get the hang of, but I find that initial challenge infinitely less frustrating than what happens when you are a good shot, but the aim assist is so high that that doesn’t really mean anything.

Absolutely no! Aim assist the biggest killer of skill gap in any shooter period. Halo 5 probably has the lowest aim assist of any halo game so far and it is amazing as it shows who really can aim. No more crutches for bad players please.

try a no-scope BR close/med range, i find it noticeable. but i like barely any its at a fine level now
