Aim Assist on the Beam Rifle

I’ve heard that the Beam Rifle has aim assist on snapshots. Does anyone know how much aim assist it has compared to a DMR or BR or something? Does it have more aim assist than the sniper when zoomed in?

I don’t know exact values, but I do know that the Beam Rifle is a Snapshot machine.

Sigh. No scope sounds better than snapshot. Anyways, they need to remove at least 50% of the aim assist on all weapons.

I believe it has aim assist in the area within its reticule and slightly outside of it.

I did the snapshot with the Beam Rifle. It’s very easy to do, so I don’t know why the aim assist was allowed in this rifle.

It has aim assist but it’s way lower than DMR’s/BR’s. Still quite easy to no-scope though.

Two sniper rifles, one better at long range, one better at short range. I don’t see what the problem is?

This is Halo, not real life sniping. The snapshot medal is there for a reason.

I hate the -Yoink!- aimbot.

Wish I could turn the -Yoink!- thing off. Causes more misses than hits tbh. Try leading your target and another enemy runs across and WHAM… you fire and hit nothing because it’s like there is an extra long stick jammed in the barrel and people trip over it all the time.

Games SHOULD be about skill. Not who has the best aimbot shot.

You get a different medal because you got a kill in a way the weapon was not intended for. If it was supposed to be for short range, you’d get a normal snipe medal. Derp.
