Iām still playing against PC players in Ranked when I turn the cross play off to console only. Iāll check their gamer tags after the match and bam, still going against PC.
So what your saying is. Since I play comtroller on PC I have the most advantage.

That is correct. I donāt use controllers for shooters, thatās blasphemous. But in infinite Controller+ pc = king god tier aim assist. Also for the guy up there saying we get this that and this only. My only gripe with the pc settings is no exclusive full screen. Otherwise my rigs running the game in 4k max settings well above 120 fps with my 120 fov. I suggest getting a far better pc.
Iām a K&M player, but Iāve typically been on the side of console players. Iāve watched my buddy play on Xbox One and his aim assist is nonexistent at worst and inconsistent at best. I had no idea this disparity existed between controller players on PC and Xbox though. This āsnap-onā crap needs to go entirely and controller players in general need some real, more traditional aim assist. Maybe not MCC or Halo 5 levels cause that straight held your hand, but more in line with Halo 3. People can call it aimbot all they want, but aiming is a miserable experience on controller without aim assist.

@LH_Justin I have always just wanted a parody between input devices but somehow on these forums that is attacking controller users. Things will never get fixed until these fanatics can stop with the pc hate. After seeing the replies in both my thread and others on waypoint I am extremely discouraged by the lack of carrying that console users have for pc users. They genuinely want halo only on Xbox and I can see how much they despise the fact that infinite came to pc. Why is it a bad thing that more people get to enjoy halo and why is wanting both input methods to be viable a bad thing to these kinds of fanatics?
I have both, I can try this later today.
Thereās jerks on both sides. Personally I canāt play an FPS on controller anymore cause it just feels so janky in comparison. Also, Iām happy it came to PC because I do all my gaming there now. I donāt wanna buy a $4-500 Xbox just to play one game.
@LH_Justin Same dude, my wife plays on xbox because she finds m&kb is too complicated and i donāt hate her for it. I just want everyone to be able to play every game how they want in a viable manor. Having parody between inputs is absolutely necessary for cross play games to succeed otherwise people like me (who has plaid every halo since 2001 and has loved the master chief since day 1) will be forced to just move on and only play the single player stuff because i personally canāt stand how clunky a controller is but donāt enjoy watching clips of people shooting two feet over my head but getting all head shots.

I would like to just remove the cross hairs if itās not going to be turning red. I turn my hud off just to get rid of the bulky crosshairs. Unfortunately it also gets rid of everything else.
@Bob_Himself4388 Thatās another thing i donāt get. Why does console users get a nice red crosshair when on point, but pc doesnāt get that benefit?
Iāve heard initially it was some kind of anti cheat thing. Not sure if thatās correct though
@Bob_Himself4388 IDK dude, all i know is i beat the campaign on legendary, bought the battle pass and havenāt touched multiplayer since because all these things just make it a very un-enjoyable experience. Between the not so micro micro transactions, the extreme disparity between input devices, lack of maps, playlists and battle pass progression, the horrendous server with the horrendous net code etc.
Thats because this game cant actually be played on Xbox One. I hated this game and couldnāt aim for crap. Bought a Series S and everything is solved. The game literally went from āWTF?!ā to āOh, this is too easy, the aim assist might need a small buff for those KBM players.ā

Iāve played it on both regular One as well as Series X, and minus the obvious smoother feel and better visuals on Series X itās not really any different. Still feels all over the place

Thats so weird. I literally improved from a low diamond player to heading towards Onyx overnight. I also play on MAX sens and acceleration and wish it were faster.
Itās probably me just being so used to playing well in lower frame rates that I donāt have much if anything noticeably change
As a pc player who struggles with the lack of raw mouse input on Halo infinite i would like to suggest the idea that that all these smug pc comments are likely from players who use an aim bot.
