Aim Assist is currently way too strong

I don’t see how that’s possible unless both have advantages in different areas creating a ‘balance’.

Well Fortnite and Warzone are the top two crossplay games in eSports. It’s possible because the devs put the work in.

Here is a solution  play with a controller or Git gud. I play on pc with controller and I have tried a few marches with m/kb and get basically the same result. I end up top of board.

So mouse and controller both rotate exactly the same? They can both spin say a 180 at exactly then same speed?

And where did I say that?

Ok sure you do, and good for you.

Perhaps you could explain balanced then and what work the Devs have done to make it so.

For me if one input method can spin a 180 a LOT faster than the other then it is NOT balanced/fair there is a clear advantage in this regard.

Ok well for one, movement speed is irrelevant since both devices can be adjusted. That all comes down to personal preference. Just because you can’t play with controller maxed out doesn’t mean someone else can’t. You can max out your look sensitivity on a controller if you want to. It’s not like on controller you have a set look sensitivity speed and it’s the same for all controllers. I was in my 20’s with Halo 2 and I always played on insane. Again, it’s all personally preference.

I’ve never played Fortnite and I’ve only played a handful of Warzone games. I do know Fortnite has always tweaked the behavior of their aim assist with controller and went off the data they collect with each season. You can look this up yourself.

Ok I’m going to ignore the ridiculousness of suggesting a mouse and controller can play the same at high speeds and play along. I just this moment put ALL my sensitivity setting to MAX and they are not remotely close to the speed you get on a mouse. No where close!

Are there settings I am missing? Have you actually tried this yourself before suggesting that a mouse and keyboard are equal if speed is increased?

Ok for one you’re putting words in my mouth, which is the second time. Where did I say that a mouse and controller are equal speed?

Ok well for one, movement speed is irrelevant since both devices can be adjusted.

Why say this to aid your argument of ‘balance’ if they can’t be made equal and are therefore NOT balanced?

I’m not, but you’re making an argument over something I never said.

This game is clearly not balanced or even close to being balanced. You’re a controller player, I assume?

Semantics, you imply things then make out like you never said them.

You talk of other games being balanced, where the Devs have got it all sorted, but when challenged on movement you say it is irrelevant in balancing cross-play. I am saying that I think you are wrong.

Because it is irrelevant, when there’s options it’s irrelevant. Fortnite has been doing this longer than Halo, even Warzone has been doing it longer than Halo. And guess what? Both are working and there’s little to no complaints. Have you seen the Halo HCS coach who watched the MnK team who was competing in the HCS? Probably not. Worth a watch but he had to play cool and try not to hurt the controller players and tell them nicely that the game is handing controller kills. And this was coming from a Pro Halo HCS coach.

Like I said, I think you are wrong as there are no options in Halo that make a controller balanced with a mouse on movement.

Fully aware I am not talking about aim.

Ok well Halo is a FPS, key word being shooter. You’re right, it is unbalanced and the favor is with controller.

You have a 40 headshot accuracy. What are ypu complaining about?

Typical elitism at it’s finest. You types preach nonstop about how other players should play with an ego as high as the sky.

Those stats are normal for MnK players. Why would a mouse player have 60 accuracy? That’s abnormal. Name one pro with a stat that hogh on mnk.

Yes it is a shooter, but not one where you sit still and don’t MOVE!

Did you not see my one game with controller? I can’t view the stats from that game alone but I remember my shot accuracy being 56 or 58%, can’t remember but it was right under 60%. That doesn’t say anything?

Why would a mnk have a 60% accuracy stat? Have you seen any pro with accuracy that high on mnk?

That’s almost impossible. Unless they have cheats.
