Ah, yes. What a fool i am for criticising the incorrect usage of a word. Your second choice in ‘hypocrisy’ is no better.
Everyone else got the gist of it, except you, who would rather argue semantics than the actual point of my argument. And hypocrisy actually does fit perfectly into what I was trying to say. I guess I could explain it to you if you wish.
Oh no, I’m making a fool of myself on an anonymous online public forum to a controller user that can’t get past platinum 2 with a male avatar in a bikini top. Whatever will I do?
You see, you have nothing other than to resort to childish attacks.
And exactly what was this comment supposed to accomplish?
Lol, now you’re asking me to explain something to you?
No, you called me a fool so I came back in a similar “attack” style. I’m just asking you to see the hypocrisy.
Aim assist is provided directly from the game. It’s first party assistance that was cleared through the proper channels. To call it cheating is incredibly typical of you to do.
If you want to get mad at someone, get mad at 343 for forcing crossplay. Otherwise, get over it.
I never called it cheating. However, to overlook the comparison is disingenuous at best. Here’s an analogy that I’ve posted before:
M&K : controller :: controller : aimbot
I can be mad at 343 for a lot of things. But maybe forcing crossplay is the most obvious without having a separate M&K HCS tournament, as well.
I don’t really care, to be frank. Take my comment as you will.
I’m out.
Lol i’m not surprised that a casual controller player would rather overlook the comparisons and data than confront the obvious.
I understand what you’re trying to say but it’s a false equivalence and therefore wrong. Hence why i wanted you to explain your thought process.
Sure, i’d love to hear you explain why they’re being hypocritical.
From what I have seen in the past games, Aim Assist is just about the same as it has always been. Your reticle slows down and is slightly tugged in the general direction of the enemy player if your reticle is red.
What I am happy about is that bullet-magnetism seems to have been turned down when compared to Halo 4 and Halo 5, so that is a definitive plus.
hy·poc·ri·sy
/həˈpäkrəsē/
noun
- the practice of claiming to have moral standards or beliefs to which one’s own behavior does not conform; pretense.
@PlasmidNeko implied there was no disparity between M&K and controller. And even goes on to imply that M&K is better. Even though we both know why Pro’s use controller as their peripheral of choice. And the accuracy statistics of controller vs M&K shows that controller is the dominant peripheral in Halo Infinite.
Then @PlasmidNeko goes on to say that they don’t want to play PC players because they cheat, implying they don’t like playing against players that have an unfair advantage over them.
Therefore, @PlasmidNeko has claimed to have moral standards (controller vs M&K is ok, which it clearly isn’t because of the unfair accuracy advantage) which one’s own beliefs do not conform (doesn’t want to play against Cheaters because of their unfair advantage).
Imagine putting the dictionary definition in your post and still getting it wrong.
Pururin uses a controller and thinks M&Kb have an advantage. But that advantage isnt what makes them not want to play against PC players. It’s the cheaters. That’s not hypocrisy.
No, the way I explained it uses the correct definition of the word. The only reason you think it is wrong is because of the way you’re explaining it. It is wrong under the way you’ve explained it. But that doesn’t mean I didn’t explain it correctly.
You explained it incorrectly. Purinrin wants to limit their own matchmaking to their platform and input so they’re less likely to encounter cheaters.
That’s not hard to comprehend.
It’s not hypocritical. Purinrin doesn’t cheat. You’re entire hypocrisy argument requires them to be a cheater for it to work.
Even if you explained it correctly, which you didn’t, you’re clearly misrepresenting Pururin’s argument.
Yet they manage to beat you so bad you come running to the forums. That tells me you’re just getting your -Yoink!- handed to you in ranked.
I’d recommend getting good.
And? What does that matter? Did you really come here just to beat your chest?
