There is way too much aim assist in Halo 4, simply put it makes strafing pointless, and lowers the skill ceiling on the sticks.
I find it amusing how players who rarely miss a shot on me in aa range lose everytime outside of it, rarely landing a shot on me just because the magnetism isn’t there to hold their hand.
If you’re so good, pop in a jump and the end of a strafe, then finish them off. I was going around testing out my strafe (no shooting just trolling to see how many shots they miss), and it works fine.

Heh, that’s funny. Trust me, you have aim assist. It’s hard-coded into the game and can’t be turned off in much the same way that you can’t remove controls from the controller. The game would be absolutely unplayable without it. All modern console FPSes use some variant of it, mostly because the thumbsticks are super imprecise (relative to a mouse and keyboard, whose games don’t have any kind of aim assist).
