This isn’t me trying to open a can of worms with the whole “Xbox Aim Assist too strong” or “Mouse Aim Assist shouldn’t be a thing” but more of the most basic of principles for anyone in gaming… Player Choice.
Why oh why is there not an option for us PC M/KB players to have the option to TURN OFF Aim Assist!?!?
As someone that many years ago played many hours of Counter-Strike, many hours of Overwatch, and many hours in many different FPS games where I’ve attuned my sensitivity for each game to be the same across all titles… 343i… Why do you think forcing a bit of aim smoothening when I hover over a player is a great idea without giving someone the choice to turn it off? Veteran FPS gamers can build up muscle memory and would rather have a feature like this off.
I got excited when Forge and the Winter Update was dropped last month but after trying to play… I don’t wanna even touch the game anymore, it’s a mockery. I’m hoping my message gets across to the devs, just like many other players’ frustrations that are in my shoes.
Just give us the simple toggle for M/KB Aim Assist, don’t force it on us.
