Aim assist and the Halo 4 control scheme

I gotta say 343, this Beta isn’t bad at all. I consider myself a veteran Halo player and let me put it lightly: I’m getting my -Yoink- handed to me, it angers me, but it’s never felt so good.

Like me many I don’t agree with the default control scheme. I don’t believe in a Halo where you aim with LT. So being the good people I know you can be over there I genuinely hope you keep the Halo 4 control scheme. It fits the game wonderfully, better than Halo 4 if I may be so bold.

There are a few issues with the Beta I know we see as a community. I personally think we die too fast in the game. Bringing more player health to the field will offer incredible 1v1 sessions kin to the Halo’s of yore…and the gameplay is incredible so this would only benefit in my eyes.

Also, I find that a lack of aim assist is somewhat…different for me. Halo has always had it and has always used it nicely. I think this game would excell those 1v1 encounters by raising the aim assist just a TAD. I mean just A TINY BIT. I think then Halo 5 would be pushed its full potential.

Please keep the control scheme from 4 in the final product and don’t let up community. We need to Forge this game into what Halo needs.

You have no idea, I literally scream and curse at my tv because I feel cheated with the hitboxes/bullet magnetism, but i still play on lol, its fun to be honest, and losing makes me just want to do better, even when i know its not my fault.

In another note, I doubt they will increase health, because a 4 shot should really be a 4 shot. But I think the BR should fire its 3 bullets more distinctly like it did in other halos (with a slight bit of spread) and then that would lower the fire rate, increasing the time to kill, and then as long as they decrease the bullet magnetism and fix the hitboxes, it think they really have something on their hands.
