Aim assist aim assist not working properly

Please help.
I cant get the aim assist to work anymore i cant even get a red aim sight no more…
I have tried unplugging mouse keyboard, pressing first with controller.
reinstalling game.
changing controllers.
verifying files in steam.
HElp.
Halo is my GOAT game but is ruined with these flaws.
I will pay $50 for a permanent fix! no bs

PC doesn’t have red reticule.

No red reticule is the anti cheat.

You wouldn’t get aim assist on MnK anyway.

Do yourself a favor and go to YouTube and search for “Halo Infinite left stick aim”. I bet the mechanic where the game messes with your aim if you’re not in motion might effect MnK too.

It did have a red reticule when aiming on enemies.
Also assist aim was working on controller before, im stuck here.

Best submit a bug report. Aim assist turns off for me sometimes and it’s so frustrating.

  1. PC doesn’t have “red” reticle.
  2. Open steam > Library > Right click Halo Infinite > Properties > Controller > Disable steam input from drop down tab.
  3. Aim assist in Halo Infinite is horrible. It’s more of a sticky aim bot rather then a slow down of the response curve. It’s also tied to the left (move) thumbstick and not the right (aim) thumbstick which means you must not do actions to break your movement. AKA Jumping.
  4. Halo Infinite will sometime recognize your mouse and keyboard software and you will randomly lose aim assist. This is a bug and requires a full game rest to fix. Also do not navigate the Halo menu with your mouse at all.

Not yet. A version of it is coming in a large PC “overhaul” update in the future.

Sometimes it takes a few restarts of the game for it to start working again. I noticed it also might be linked to stick drift occuring during the game loading.

No red reticle on pc
mnk has no aim assist
try unplugging your mouse, then using controller

Actually that controller setting made the game better but now its playing funny again. Hit reg , bneat downs lag aim asist you name it.

That’s just desync and crappy servers.

There is no fix. 343 is working on it but it’s a major problem that requires a large fix that’s taking time.

Yea but there must be somethign i can do. I feel like im being hacked the game works fine for a few minutes and the this desync occurs. Is there anyway i can protect myself and prevent this from happening. Im not very good at networking and need some help, pls.

The best way to fix desync is to stop play Halo Infinite and play MCC if you still really want to play Halo.

99% sure you were playing Halo 3. Halo 3 BR is an innacurate pos, dunno why everyone has a -Yoink!- for it.

I swear dude. Im lost . I tried somany things to get this working. Im paranoid some are constantly hacking me some how.
This shouldnt be happening.
