Did a quick search through the forum - didn’t see this brought up yet so apologize if it’s already been talked about.
I’m not a fan of AI announcing re-spawns of power weapons and power-ups to every person in the game. You just get entire teams crowding around them. My opinion is it’s more rewarding for the player that’s paying attention if it’s not announced.
At least make this something that’s turned off in some game modes. It really changes the flow of a game.
I wouldn’t mind it being turned off for ranked as timing everything on the map is a genuine skill and strategy. Sometimes teams will delay picking up a powerup for example so the other team can’t properly time when it will next be available.
Hopefully it is turned off for ranked play, but if it isn’t then that’s okay I guess. The games will still have plenty of things to be competitive over.
I think it should definitely stay for Social gametypes though.
AI voice needs to be disablable. They said they would consider it post-launch, but 343 really needs to just let us disable AI voice altogether. We understand that they might have thought/worked hard on the idea, but having an AI talk to you is really annoying in PvP. It makes it seem childish as well.
