I haven’t seen a post on this yet and don’t know if anyone else has had this problem besides me and my brother, but the challenge to defeat ai in matchmaking is bugged. After winning a match, the progression towards the challenge stays at 0. If you also check the service record it does not count as a win either but counts as a game played. I like the idea behind ai matchmaking as it allows you to play with other people if you don’t have buddies available to play, but it will probably only be something I play to complete challenges whenever this gets fixed.
On a side note, it would be interesting if they brought back the automatic difficulty where the difficulty adapted to how you were doing against the ai. It would be awesome if this was implemented into the matchmaking so that each player on the team was matched against an ai opponent at their corresponding automatic difficulty. Or if the players difficulty was set to an average to make up an ai team all at that difficulty. This would make it so that the ai would become more challenging against skilled players while making it easier for those who are still learning the game. I have a feeling that if you start giving wins to people playing this mode, that people will start to farm wins. Having an adaptive game mode can not only combat that but keep it challenging and fun. This is just an idea, but hopefully at least add this mode to custom skirmish games.

I’ve been experiencing same issues, playing on Xbox one every AI match counts as defeat I’ve played six games so far but they have all been victorys in game, but defeats on my service record. Gamer tag is x586xGH0STx the o in ghost is a zero and I’m playing in the eastern United States. That’s everything they want when posting to forums I believe.
