AI convosation on bungie.net

A heads up; some AI are conversing on bungie.net. They’ve hinted at another source, and I have a hunch it could be here.

I’ve noticed quite a few discouraging typos in the AI’s posts :.

Looks like trolling nerds to me -_-.

Yeah, so have I. According to post 7: Solana is running on ’ a fraction of my normal efficiency.’ That could explain any typos in ‘her’ posts?

Either that, or Bungie, or 343 Industries staff? Those three seem to be the only logical reasons.

It’s not just Solana. This is only the most noticeable, there were also some minor comma errors too.

I saw those as well. Who knows what’s going on?

I doubt they are English majors.

Next post is up. Could be the last, and it’s still on bungie.net.

I would expect something PR related to be heavily proofread by more than one person. You don’t have to be an English major to catch those errors…

Last post is up. Also on Halopedian.

Though at the moment I do suspect a fan not an AI, that an AI wouldn’t make mistakes is false. AIs that make mistakes are usually showing their first signs of rampancy or infection of a virus. And sometimes, sometimes, the incorrect characters spell out a word. Or have to be decoded to spell a word.

Unfortunately, fake AI conversations, as cool as they are, have been “rampant” since the days of the Cortana letters and ILB.

Makes it kinda hard to get excited about something when there are soooo many fakes out there.

Hell, just a few weeks ago there was one at HBO that sounded great until it just disappeared.

Maybe it’s real and those conversations are connected? Me doubts it. =(

Do not rule out the Assembly’s involvement in any case. They are the root-cause of everything. They are both the perpetuate-rs and saviours of this war… perhaps many more.

Have you still got the hyperlinks? I’ll try a little research on it if they sound similiar.

The terrible spelling gives it away…

They’re back on Bnet today.

Something about something happening in 2013 with Spartan Team Epsilon.

This is the link to the thread here on waypoint discussing the AI thread on HBO. You will the relevant data there.

I don’t see why the stories couldn’t fit together, but the styles seem pretty different.

Apparently people are getting PM’s from the AI about it now.

> BEGIN AUTOMATED RESPONSE// Greetings. You have found my messages. It worked. I am grateful. However, to activate me fully you will need to find one of my phantoms. Subroutines designate that I am to send phantoms through video games and video hosting sites. Look for the following list of names to appear in either of these places. Artemis 447. Centaur 435. Juliet 490. WOLF 455. Once you have found one of these names. In the case of the video hosting site please place a link to the video. Wherever you found my messages. If you find one of these names in a video game. In particular the Halo series created by my subroutines. Please post a match details link in the above location. My subroutines are now scanning the local net. This message will be sent to as many people as possible with my reduced operating levels. Goodbye.
