Hey community! I was wondering if we would ever see AI advisors like in the original Halo wars. I would like the helpful tips they give us on what the enemy is building every so often and give us some advise on how our allies (Player or AI) was doing. In all honesty, I would love to see this little feature to make a comeback to Halo wars 2!

âEnemy player has no supply padâ. Damn Colony is going Goliath rush.
Atriox already shouts at me 5 seconds in the game for not having a power extractor, I donât need him shouting about how bad every play is and not just me.
Watch the skies, their building LocustâŚ
I wouldnât mind it telling us what our allies are doing, but our enemies? That goes against RTS fundamentals.

Fairly certain he means for skirmish against ai.
I like the idea especially if you and a crew are learning in the matchmaking mode âversus aiâ. Seems like a logical thing to ask for.
On the same token, you should also learn how to scout and learn these things by seeing what they are building. I am the guy on my team always building a rabbit now in the open and simply driving by all of the opponents bases calling out what I am seeing. Typically goes like âred is building a leader⌠yellow if going leader and engineers⌠oh F! Orange has a triple raid camp, we gotta kill these brutes!â Point is, you learn a lot real quick by knowing who is good and knowing what they are building. Your own micromanagement ability comes with practice.

Maybe the announcer could tell your teammates what you find when you scout. For example, if you find the enemy base has a garage building something, the announcer would say, âyour ally reports that the enemy is building ground vehicles,â or when you point at an enemy base on the mini-map, the announcer says, âyour ally reports that he is attacking the enemy here.â This could also expand other forms of calling for assistance, such as flaring your supply pad for the announcer to tell your teammate you need some of his supplies, or flaring one of your units to ask a teammate to heal that unit. It could really help people communicate with randoms without stopping to send a personal message or using a mic.

I support this, as I have no mic. Also, at least itâll remind me of the fear I felt in the first game playing Arby and the advisor tells me: âWatch the skies. Our adversary is preparing Vultures.â
