If you turn your Field of View up above 78 degrees, the lower half of your Spartan’s body disappears.
Go into any match, turn your FoV down to 78 degrees and your legs appear, go even one point up and they vanish.
I read that the reason for this is raising the FoV can make you see inside of your own character model and mess up the view, so the Devs disable viewing your body model to work around this to keep the FoV slider in the game.

I have PC, but that explains it! I think I’m at 90 fov.

They disabled it across both platforms then, must not be a bug.
