The Rookie (Halo 3: ODST)- Noble 6 (Halo Reach)- A New Character- OtherThe Rookie
This could be possible with nobody knowing what happened after the events of ODST, the only info we got was that Buck became a Spartan 4 which means possibly Rookie could also be a Spartan 4. Also with his name last name being unknown could he possibly be Agent Locke?
Noble 6
Although the final cut scene of the Lone Wolf mission hinted that he died showing the Elite about to strike him with the energy sword is it possible he could make a comeback? In my honest opinion I cannot see one scenario of him surviving at all, but I have been proven wrong before on the topic of characters that I assumed surely to be dead. So if he was to survive do you think he would be back to play the role of Agent Locke since he was never given a actual name in Reach?
New Character
This is probably the most likely to happen but a new character could be interesting to the series with him studying Master Chief and having connections with The Arbiter
Other
If none of these options then who do you think Agent Locke could be?
Either way whoever Agent Locke is I’m really interested in his Role in Guardians and also I can guarantee to all the trolls out there Agent Locke is not my mom xD
Well I noticed in the first cutscene in halo 4 we don’t know who is talking to doctor halsey. She said he is not UNSC troops trying to get info but he is someone else perhaps ONI. So do you think that agent locke is in halo 4?

That’s what I thought.
Perhaps though, it’s not this shadowy figure, but someone from the same organization. Perhaps trying to create soldiers as good as John.

Seeing as how the figure was white and sounds nothing like Mike Colter, who is black and thus so is Locke, not the same guy.
i think he is jun because look at the armor visor looks like a scout helmet visor and the helmet is just a bit diffrent but so is the halo 3 and halo reach and halo 4 scout helmets plus agent locke they talk about night fall but their is a mission on halo reach called nightfall to do with you and jun

no.
But we know the rookie a locke are not the same guy as you can see the rookie is white. look at his fingers. Also 343 have stated that Locke is a new character.
Lt. Colonel J.D., was an white, caucasian orbital drop shock trooper who participated in the Battle of New Mombassa, during 2552… status is currently unknown as of 2557.
Spartan-B312 was a Spartan-III who died during the Fall of Reach, in 2552.
Lt. Commander Jameson Locke is a ONI Agent with Spartan-IV Augmentations. He is a new character, which draws his origin story from the upcoming live-action film, produced by Scott Free Productions, Halo: Nightfall… to which he was an orbital drop shock trooper. He will be a playable character during Halo 5: Guardians, and will also be featured in Halo: The Master Chief Collection. He seems to be investigating the whereabouts of the Master Chief Petty Officer, John-117, and is being assisted by Sangheili Ambassador, Thel 'Vadam. The Lt. Commander is NOT Avery Junior Johnson’s son…

Oy Vey… Now that’s what I call ‘over thinking it.’ Similar armor =/= same characters. Also, the scouting mission from Reach has nothing to do with the title of Ridely Scott’s production. The title is Halo: Nightfall because the destroyed ring is orbiting very close to a star, so it gets very hot during the day, thereby forcing them to be on the ring only at night.
He could be the rookie…as you never see his face… or know his name…it’s not a bad theory honestly… if the rookie wasn’t white (fingers are white)
He could be Noble 6… as you never see his face… or know his name…if noble 6 didn’t die…
My best bet is that Locke was Halsey’s interrogator, but the voice actors are different (however characters have had voice changes in Halo such as Prophet Truth). But the interrogator’s hands are white, and locke is black.
One thing is for sure, if people break the community guide lines, this thread will be agent locked by a monitor/moderator.

It doesn’t work, the Rookie’s service number is 11282-31220-JD. The last two letters are important since that designates a name. Jameson Locke does not match up with JD.

He did die, Bungie and 343 confirmed it.

So that cancels out them being the same.

Oh I think the discussion has been perfectly fine in terms of rules, people just need to do some basic research before typing out the first thing that comes to mind.
