What he said. Palmer is a work in progress, I believe she will come to terms with Halsey in the upcoming games.
I thought spartan ops had cool animation, but bland writing. DeMarco is the only guy who had any real personality. Hoya talked like once. The rest had a few cheesy one-liners, and Thorne is just the typical “new guy” sort of character. Not to mention that Palmer was somehow taking out multiple knights by dual wielding magnums WITHOUT a helmet, so I don’t even understand how she could have been aiming.
We don’t know that either of them will die. You should have made an option for neither.
Should all check out my theory on Halo 5 guardians. Trust me i think one of them is going to die.
Neither. I hate all these games that kill off main characters. Infinity Ward kills everyone. Lol. Chief better never die. If it is done tastefully then I dont mind character deaths. I dont think Chief.should die to some pissant like Locke though.
Palmer should die before anyone else so we can all forget her annoying personality.

I believe that Locke is a character introduced to make a new game. Basically meaning this will be his First and Only appearance in a halo game or a.k.a Killed Off
locke should atleast have some further involvement past 5, or else I fear halo 5 will just be the gimmick of “that’s the one with the cool guy”. Same thing with didact, he better have some future involvement so halo 4 isn’t “the one with the silver guy”, I prefer stories that develop all characters rather than just the main characters with a new enemy each time, this is one of the reasons the original Starwars trilogy is better than the prequels. I would want chief and locke in halo 6 against didact, with maybe the inclusion of some precursor memory/revelation that reveals what the didact really wants and how the flood relates, which would bring the series full circle, rather than just having lockes involvement be minimal and pointless. 6 should be the game where characters die, not 5. Imagine a parallel to halo 3’s ending where locke actually ends up an ally with chief and arbiter, and they both die, and locke tells everyone their true story in a public speech and gets terminated from oni but honors them as heroes, it’d be a perfect conclusion.
Chief without a doubt.

Didact is dead. He was killed in a comic.

No he wasn’t. He was contained as a digital essence. Check his character page here on Waypoint under the Universe tab up top.
If Master Chief dies then one of Halo’s unique key aspects of the series is gone. Masterchief started it all

I don’t really find it necessary to kill any of them but if I were to choose one I would choose Agent Locke
The chief is the main character. Why would he die?
I don’t think either one would die. Maybe the Spartans though
