I think that Locke fired the bullet at master chief, how about you guys?
Maybe, I think it may be Locke or another possibility would be Jun…

Jun isn’t in active service, it isn’t him.
Its a clearly more symbolic video, though i’m sure its meant more to represent locke.
Honestly, I find it funny, given that in all the Locke vs Chief threads I was thinking “all it’d take is a sniper and the element of surprise”.
What if Chief fired the bullet? Shoots his helmet to cause an explosion or something. Would be misleading lol

I agree. its clearly more symbolic than anything.
also the back of the bullet says Hero.
I think it is more symbolic and represents Locke in some way
The whole Traitor thing seems really silly to me if it’s supposed to be directed at Master Chief. It sort of seems misleading the whole not knowing Lockes motives because obviously he’s not going to assassinate Chief. And obviously there would be absolutely no call for the UNSC or Oni to order him to, regardless if he’s AWAL. But it’s probably not intended to be taken literally.
I think that this may actually end up being the Halo TV show, which was rumored a year ago to lead up to the release of Halo 5 by the same guy who leaked a bunch of correct Halo related stuff like MMC and nightfall.

Wouldn’t you think the bullet having the words traitor and hero, among many others, reflects Locke’s unsureness?

I agree. I think Locke will be trying to find Master Chief, with the Arbiter helping him. Locke will he hunting Chief because Chief went AWOL to go find that big forerunner thing (in the trailer), because it is connected to the forerunner network, and Chief thinks that Cortana might still be in the forerunner network. And the UNSC/ONI sent Locke because they don’t know if Chief is hostile to them or not.

I honestly hadn’t noticed that, I watched it on a small cellphone screen., but yeah, that stands to probably be what they’re shooting for. I just think they’re trying to create a little more conflict then what’s warranted here, I mean it’s sort of like they’re trying to make Locke’s motives seem more conflicted than they actually are and regardless of anything else I don’t think anyone in the UNSC, or even Oni for that matter could see Master Chief as anything other than a hero. And the whole manhunt thing is nothing more than the UNSC need Chiefs help again and Locke is trying to find him to get him to return, not kill him, or have a physical altercation.

That’s what Jun wants you to think…
yep, that just means Locke is gonna take lots of punches on his face by the mighty Chief
Locke just can’t beat Chief
Here is what I take from it.
Its probably Locke, firing the bullet. But its ONI’s bullet and Gun. Traitor and Hero show how Locke feels about the Chief.
Spartans are BUILT to not feel emotions and not what they WANT. They are taught to only go for what they need. At the end of Halo 4, Chief is finally shown going for what he wants (When he tells Cortana to wait). Spartans are also told to accept the orders of your superiors. So he believes he is a Traitor because either A it makes it more dehumanizing so Locke can finish the job easier or Chief actually did something. Hero because of the Chief’s past actions and reflects how Locke feels about it. However its still very unclear on why Chief left the UNSC but it is clear he did leave.
