Agent Locke character change?

In Halo: Nightfall, Agent Locke is a very clean cut good guy. He doesn’t have that many problems that are shown. However, in the Halo 2 Anniversary Prologue/Epilogue, he seems much more smug and manipulative of those he’s speaking to. I imagine Locke is gonna behave this way in Halo 5: Guardians as well. This does seem a bit odd, as Locke seems quite different from the mini-series and Prologue/Epilogue, with more personality in the Prologue/Epilogue. My problem in Nightfall was Locke was kinda bland nice guy, with no faults. I wonder what changes in Locke to make in the way he seems now, going into Halo 5: Guardians. What do you think made Locke change?

Either ONI, or Loomy Narty.

That guy annoys me. I think it’s the way he talks, like he is struggling with any words over two syllables. I hope he isnt a major part in Halo 5, or I’ll have to read the story instead of play it.

Looks like you’re gonna want to brush up on your reading skills mate, Because Locke is a primary Character and we will be playing as him.

I have the same doubt, but in Halo 5: Guardians, Locke is looking for Master Chief just to find answers…(or I think that)

I read MC is still the primary character. I guess I was just hoping Locke was just part of MCs story, a small part.
