This is unbelievable. We are 3 months from launch and the last time we saw any gameplay from campaign was 14 months ago…
I dont think they want to spoil anymore of the Campaign. They revealed their obligation last year with the 8 minutes of gameplay.
They should delay the campaign until it’s ready and fully functional, feature complete. The multiplayer is enough to tide everyone over until then.

what exactly they shown to be spoiled in the first place? 8 minutes of free roaming and typical halo gameplay you mean?
I get they don’t want to spoil it but at least show the same campaign trailer with updated assets

Not going to happen. December 8th has been set in stone today at Gamescom. I am extremely happy.

I do get the feeling that the lack of campaign footage is because they want to keep the game entirely spoiler free and fresh, but they should show some kind of gameplay, if for no other reason than appearances sake.
Why do you want campaign footage so bad?
I want to know as little as possible, I don’t want to know what happened or who the special villains are.
I haven’t been this hyped since Fallout 4
I’m fully expecting the campaign to be a disjointed result of massive edits and rewrites akin to Destiny 1’s campaign or Solo: A Star Wars Story. Expect there to be some weird plot developments.
And I bet they know it too.

Honestly at this point my faith is just gone. They don’t care about campaign. Let’s all just start accepting that now. They want a MP cash-cow and that is it.

I would bet money that this campaign has gone through massive back and forth rewrites and is a disjointed disaster. It’ll work; it’ll be fun; there’ll be some cool stuff; but, honestly, I think it’s telling how little we’ve seen or have been told about this campaign.
Revealing more campaign would be great but they arent obliged they have shown mutliplayer it may be just as relevant

It’s not so much spoiling they got so much backlash from that 8 minutes that basically worked overtime to polish the game. In case people have forgotten this game was supposed to release last year. I can only imagine the state of the game if they did that. We want a good polish game of course and I don’t mind waiting but they don’t need to be scared they need to show us some footage.
