After update, can't resume campaign

The update just finished loading and booted me from my game. Now I’m trying to resume the campaign and the game crashes repeatedly. I’ve tried a hard reset of the console and the issue persists.

Halo 5 starts, I can select Solo and Resume campaign, it begins to load the level I left off on, I get the load screen and countdown. When the countdown reaches zero, it goes to a black screen with the loading circle in the bottom left, then Halo 5 is gone and I’m back on the Xbox dashboard.

What gives 343?! Fix this!

For now just select start new mission and replay that mission you were on? Shouldn’t take you too long to get back to where you were.

This is happening to me as well. What the hell?! I select resume campaign and right when it finishes loading, the game crashes.

Exact same issue.
This is frustrating because I’m trying to solo the game on legendary. Playing missions without rally points can take hours sometimes, so I don’t want to restart the whole mission!
Please fix!

Same here. I die and go to resume or I leave the game and come back and resume… It says deploying 3…2…1… Spinning -Yoink!- of doom… then it crashes me out to the Xbox home screen.

Major problem. Fix now. Pissed.

Same here. Everytime I die it takes me back to the main screen and shuts off the game. Sometimrd every 5th or 6th time it actually loads. Super annoying to see the Microsoft Studies and 343 logo everytime I die and claw my way back to the campaign menu. I am not starting over because I am trying to defeat Warden at the end of a level.

Here the same issue, contacted microsoft support, made me the steps below, but no result, when i try to resume or load a saves game , the game closes and retuns to the home screen. arghh ,

Here’s the steps: DETETE THE PROFILE: Go to Home screen >> Press the Menu button on your controller >> Select Settings >> Settings screen >> Scroll to the right. Under OTHER PEOPLE, select Remove accounts >> Select the account that you want to remove, and then select Choose this person >> Select Remove from this Xbox to confirm >> When you’re finished, select Close.
PERSISTENT STORAGE: Please go to Home >> Settings >> Disc and Blue - Ray >> Click Persistent Storage >> Click Clear Persistent Storage. Please Click Clear Persistent Storage 3 times. Thanks!

M A C S E T T I N G S: Please press the Menu button on your controller >> Click Settings >> Click Network >> Click Advance Settings >> Click Alternate MAC address >> and then click Clear.

I am having the same issue. Lost my game progress. This stinks!!

This is happening to me. Has nothing to do with the update for me though, it just crashed at end of a mission and now repeatedly crashes upon resume. Very frustrating. I dont want to replay the entire mission on Legendary, especially because it could just happen again. Useless. Please address this issue asap.

Aaaaghhh!!! come on. Legendary solo annoying as it is. Now i have same issue as you guys. On mission 10 about to board the big dude aaaaand crash… can’t resume as it just crashes to dash :slight_smile:
Looks like im back to Destiny for a while till we have a fix
