After two weaks of the Winter update, the Commando is now the top tier

Before, I would grab both BR and Commando when I had no other situations, but the BR for sure. Now idk when, but the Commando felt so much more consistent and satisfying to use… while the BR somehow felt harder to use. I do know that one was buffed as the other was nerfed. At this point, I usually grab the Commando more often as the TTK is just splendid for catching enemies out.

Overall I think the Commando buff was great, but the BR should traditionally be the more reliable weapon and its nerf wasn’t needed. Because… it just doesn’t feel like the best BR in all the Halo games anymore.

I hated the BR last week, but I feel completely different about this week. It just took a little getting used to. I do play a lot of SWAT though.

The commando feels better too but I still don’t use it enough. The update has and will make me use it more.

ps I like ‘splendid for catching enemies out’

The nerf on the BR is definitely making me think about using more of the sandbox.

Probably the right decision was made.

I always said the BR in infinite is a low powered sniper rifle.
The nerf was needed. But I think it may just a tad, a smooch, a hair under powered right now.
