So, you guys think a majority of the folks who played for free will take advantage of the 50% and buy the game? Or will they say “that was fun” and just uninstall Halo 5?
I’m hoping a good chunk stays with Halo 5 and we see a rise in the player count. Hopefully we all did our part to welcome them and convinced them to stay within our community as well.

50% off is a crazy deal to me. after the statue edition, special xbox, special headset, extra controller, lootcrate, microtransactions. and anything else ive paid for in this game and hey still worth the money.

Same. Aside from the headset I have purchased alot of Halo 5 items as well.
I hope so, my brother had the trial but won’t buy it from the store, it’s currently £13 on Amazon so got it from there.

I think 343s games have been pretty well made. Yea there’s been questionable decisions, but the same can be said for the Bungie Halos as well (ex. Armor Lock, Reach ruining the lore)

Yeah I saw the price and really couldn’t understand why it was so low!?
He’ll be around for a while, especially I keep gifting him decent and fun to use reqs.

I’d guess because it is coming close to a year old now, and sincr other games are releasing, Microsoft is trying to make Halo 5 cheap enough for people to purchase compared with its competition.
Probably see a bump of a few thousand people for the cheap price. Noticed a lot of <5 level players in warzone this weekend.

It might be temporary though, with all these new shooters scheduled to hit in the last quarter. But if they could just get 1 in 4 or 1 in 5 to get the game then that’ll be fine.

Im glad you like them but the hundreds of thousands of Halo fans that left when H4 released would disagree with you. Also, Reach didnt ruin the lore. Go watch Halo Canon’s timeline. I agree on Armor Lock though. Almost made me break the disc on multiple occasions.
