I am wondering has 343 been listening to the fans and have they fixed the game and made it more like the old Halo’s or is still the same as its been since launch?

Heavy aim: Not fixed
Warzone balancing: Not fixed
Warzone firefight balancing: Not fixed
Unlocking loadout weapons (like the DMR) by level and not REQ-packs: Not fixed
Ranked playlists having proper matchmaking: Not fixed

But hey, at least they added a ton of new armours and emblems. Exactly what everyone wanted!!
Don’t get me wrong. They’ve added Firefight, Infection, Superfiesta and other gamemodes… That should have been there at the start.

Anything in particular YOU wanted them to fix?

Halo 5 is just…different. It’s now modernized. 343 did fix something that allowed the franchise to be a little more modern, and that was changing the button layout so you could get quickscopes and such using the left trigger to smartlink. Have they changed the game in the 8 months I’ve been playing? No, not really. We’ve had one or two DLCs that added a few cool new REQs but nothing huge like SPLITSCREEN.

just thought i would mention that WZ isn’t meant to be balanced it’s supposed to be unbalanced, chaotic.
they’ve made heroic FF if the normal (now legendary FF) isn’t your thing.
as for the DMR i got mine at rank 16 i think.
and i don’t know about the other two so that’s 3/5

Since Halo 5 still has Spartan abilities and the like, the answer to your question is no.

You can play it again to form your own opinion or you can not. But coming on the forums and asking if they turned the clock back 10 years doesn’t accomplish anything.
