And I gotta say this game seems to play better than it did then. I was one of those “I am done with Halo” people. Ive been a fan of this franchise from the start. Ive been a die hard fan. Seems like 343 made some adjustments to how the game plays. The DMR could still use a nerf but Im sticking back to Halo again. Im loving the Forge maps as well. I hated them in Reach. And yes I did have to make a thread about this. #dealwithit

Welcome back! Not only is the game getting some balance changes on June 3rd, but Waypoint is also changing as well. Thoughtful and respectful discussion is welcome no matter the opinion and were trying as a community to point out when people are not being constructive and helpful.
Same here. I stopped playing H4 about two months ago and just started playing again yesterday. I agree. it seems that this game plays better now than two months ago.
I"m starting to play some again, and it certainly is better than it was. The only two things I want still are more lobbies voting slayer pro and to have the teams be more even, as it seems whichever team I’m on the point difference is at least 20 by the end of the game.
Yeah the skill gap seems to be far between teams Ive noticed that last few days since I started playing again. Be nice if it were more balanced. I also think Slayer Pro needs its own playlist. Dont get me wrong I enjoy it and its the closest thing to Classic Halo there is in the game now but it needs its own playlist. Im looking forward to seeing what the weapon balance patch will do in June. Ive also noticed that people are using the BR more than they did cause when I left it was DMR fest.
Same! I stopped playing Halo 4 a few months back and started replaying it recently and I’m having a much better time. Although the DMR is still overpowed.
maxed pretty much all my commendations…im done with this game…i already switched back to halo 3. its alot more fun even with the crappier graphics

I LOVE what 343 has done with continuing the lore of Halo. I love what they did with Forward Unto Dawn and Halo 4’s campaign was the best in the series. Im looking forward to the TV show I dont get why people are doubting it. Unfortunately every game board will have its haters. I play COD also and people on their boards are always bash it and say they hate it yet they play it. Dont get that logic.
Spread the word, weapon updates arrive June 3! Anyway, the dmr is getting a slight range nerf and the other guns are getting drastic buffs. The br will actually be able to win in close medium range. Also, if you want forge maps play the community forge island playlist. It has great maps like onyx and crucifix. If you’ve played then obviously you’ve seen that red xs have returned (unless your whole team got perfections). I wish I could tell you all the cool changes but there are quite a few. I think there is a big change log on the forums that 343 maintains.
I too left halo 4 several months ago and came back last week and also agree. I didnt make a rage quit or qq thread, just simply left for that game which shall not be named, but now im back, and definitely prefer halo and cant wait for the weapon tuning =D

claps This is a rare thread. A VERY rare thread. Not one about somebody quitting Halo 4 because they dislike the Ordinance… But a thread about someone coming back to the game, and enjoying it. My faith in Humanity has been restored for a time.

Totally agree with you (However I’ll go down the nostalgic/biased route of Halo 2 having the best campaign) on that. I loved the campaign, and the story of SpOps, and what happens after the campaign to the Infinity, I liked how they linked together several characters in the FuD series, and overall the continuation of the story. They did a remarkable job. The story was even better if you read the books.

Crappier? I for one prefer Halo 3’s cartoony graphics over Halo 4’s overly shiny graphics. And the animations are better in 3, also.

I’ve only just came back to the forums after a while, and it finally seems like people are becoming much more respectful and mature when it comes to discussions here. I certainly intend to stay for a lot longer now
