This adds another 20 seconds to the boot time. This is remarkably similar to the prior issue I …which of course I can’t find since my prior comments here are apparently gone. Gosh thanks for wasting more of my time.
So basically I’ve waited 2 months hoping this product I paid full price for and my Ult sub is a waste.

Umm, those are precise details of what happens every boot. It’s better than it was prior when it would actually cause multiple DWM exe crashes on boot. I’m not the only on with this issue. Before you bother, this is the ONLY title that fails. I have hundreds of other games. Fly FS2020 at 4K for hours with nary and issue. My system is solid as a rock. The install and management of this title is garbage.
Update. The updated Store/Xbox app update, just corrupted the install, then deleted it. Thanks MS/343, you’ve literally wasted thousands of dollars of my time. Not every one has uncapped internet or GB speed to waste on redownloading 150 odd GB every freaking other day. All I did this time was, down load and install and only tried to run Halo 4. DLC installed, was able to launch and view the chapter cut scene. Great I said. Exited to desktop. First check, what happens when I reboot… boot hangs takes twice as long. Multiple surprise disk removal errors, precisely 5 every time on every boot. Game install is now borked and says ‘0’ bytes using the new manager.
Perhaps that’s precise for others, but I don’t find it clear at all. Details of the actual error message displayed, point at which it displays, does the game stop or continue on, device you’re using etc would all help.
In any case, might be best to head over to the Halo Support site, see if the issues are listed and submit a ticket.
Perhaps you could have wasted less of your time being entirely unhelpful. That is the error message precisely. When it occurs was provided. If the old forum posts were here, I would have provided more detail with the prior error. What occurs, was provided. I could add more words, but… whatever again, massive amounts of history on this and it is still occurring despite all these updates with install options. If you disable gaming services at boot, it stops the issue. However, that breaks the store. This is all documented and such a waste of time to repeat again. It would be best if they would fix their site and not blow up the entire history of past issues with a forum update. As you can tell, folks wasting my time with annoying suggestions I am too unaware to know there is also a support section that is also wrecked is annoying. I have course already submitted ticket… oh gosh… we would know that too if the forum history wasn’t blown up. Such progress!
