Like how we had reach and ODST, Would you guys want a Glasslands game and a game that took place durring the forerunner war,I sure as hell would , I want to work on some ideas but i want to hear what you guys think.
Edit:Seriously?,none of you want to play as prometheans?,i think that would be great.
Maybe if a 343 member walks in here they could take some notes
Games we would like to see eventually or possibly mixed in with eachother.
Forerunner Saga
Kilo 5 trilogy
Contact Harvest
We already know that 343 might have plans for Halo wars 2 and a Halo 2 Aniversary.
No, unless they got CA to do Halo 2 Anniversary. I’d rather they put all of their time and effort into Halo 5 and 6. Maybe after the Reclaimer trilogy ends then we can look forward to that kind of stuff, but Halo has never thrived off of spin-offs from the main series.
We’re gonna get one next year to go with the release of the next Xbox. However, it could also be a remake of Halo 2.
Before anyone jumps on me, Microsoft brought 343i into existence for 1 thing, and that’s creating Halo products. Part of that is releasing a game every year because they make money. Don’t try to tell me off like it isn’t going to happen because it has for the last 4 years.

I believe Frankie has already come forward to say that yearly releases is not something he has planned for the franchise going forward, I think some of his exact words were “It works for some franchises, but not for Halo.”
Yeah id love to see Halo 2 aniversary also, but i mean like totoally new sidegames with new concepts.Like in the forerunner war game you Play as the didact or just a really high level promethean,i think that would be really fun. Or in glasslands play as an elite fighting humans and other elites. Just things with new concepts,i would love to see the forerunner trilogy done in games, maybe done by a different part of the studio so it doesn’t interfere with Halo 5 and 6.
I’m hoping if they do something like this through spartan ops. Although its free we could have some DLC for a spin off series that’s separate from the current Spartan Ops’ story and comes complete with all the episodes in one bundle

You know what doesn’t work for Halo? Yearly releases of major numbered titles like 4 then to 5 per say. That won’t work, and I completely understand that. The thing is, when you have a company working under you like Saber Interactive is with 343i, you can throw them a project and release it next year, and the year after that you release Halo 5.
Just because there won’t be a major release, it doesn’t meant there won’t be a game with the Halo name on it. I mean, look at ODST. It was developed by Bungie at the same time they were working on Reach so what’s to say that there isn’t something being worked on right now at 343i as a side project. Halo as a brand is controlled by Microsoft.
If I was Microsoft, I would continue to milk this cash cow each year because you have a fan base that eats up every bit of story they can get their hands on, me included. This isn’t like Call of Duty where yes, there is a yearly release, but their ability to create a universe is severely hindered by where they have set the series. Halo on the other hand can go anywhere you want it to because at any point, at any time, you can create a new story to build on existing background info.
> I’d like to see a sequel to Halo Wars. It was quite enjoyable in my opinion.
Probably won’t happen because the company that made Halo Wars, Ensemble Studios, doesn’t exist anymore. Sure another studio could step in but, did Halo Wars even sell enough to be viable? If Microsoft closing down Ensemble Studios is any indication, then I say no.
I want Halo Harvest so people can see what happened before reach cause the campain can have over 4 players cause there was more than 4 spartans in the story about harvest.
Nope. I’d rather them just have Halo 4, 5 6 and then finish it to be honest. The only other game I’d like is a Xbox Live Arcade “Halo 2 Anniversary” which is just the Campaign.

Why? It’s business. They’re here to make games that people will buy so that their bottom line looks good. Halo as a brand sells, so if you can release a product each year at $59.99 and it continually sells well considering it is console specific, why would you stop that? There has been a Halo game for the last 3 years. Halo 3 in 2007. Nothing in 2008 followed up by Halo Wars and ODST in 2009. Reach was released in 2010, CEA was released last year and now Halo 4 this year.

Different circumstances. Bungie had to have made 5 Halo games before a specific time or else their contract with Microsoft would’ve been renewed.
You could still be right about a side project, but even then it would probably be H2A, which would most likely be released in 2014, not 2013.
