I have to say I’m actually using the Assault Rifle MORE than the Battle Rifle. It’s a superb short to mid-mid range weapon with the addition of the smart scope. My game plan the majority of the time is AR for the majority of areas and quick swap to BR when I see someone I dictate just a bit too far away (More than about… 3 - 4 meters away or give or take.) So AR close quarters or most generally and BR in more mid range confrotations.
The AR is probably more useful than it ever has been, and personally I’m really loving that.
