Lots and lots of multiplayer shooters games have been announced at E3 and have been recently released, just to name a few: Overwatch, Battlefield 1, Call of Duty Infinite Warfare/Modern Warfare, Quake, Lawbreakers, Quake, Ghost Recon, Destiny (new DLC), Gears of War 4, Titan Fall 2, etc have been recently released or announced for 2016/2017.
Each Halo game has about a 3 year life span and we’re still in year 1. So by the time Halo is in it’s 2nd year of it’s prime, many of these games will be out. I really hope 343i steps its game up. I’m pleased so far with the addition of griffball and infection, personally, I don’t play these playlists, but they are a nice welcome for casual gamers. I’m also excited for Warzone Firefight and all the creative forge maps players have created.
I’m really hoping 343i get’s off it’s Warzone high horse and give us the playlists and gametypes we’ve been asking for since launch:
Team Doubles - Team Snipers - Action Sack - Oddball - King of the Hill - Strictly non-slayer Arena playlistIf it’s true that Halo 5 has surpassed 5 million copies in sales (as a previous topic mentioned), then it looks like we have a strong enough community to start exploring new gametypes and playlists.
True, I can’t wait to see what playlist 343 will implement. Just hope that Microsoft doesn’t push 343i into making Halo 6 too fast. They interfered with Halo 5’s development, most likely causing it to be released after a year. Scary stuff bro.

I agree, rather quality than quantity in games, I don’t think they would do that with Halo 6, since they saw the mistake of releasing a game before it is completely developed, and because even 343 change the Halo wars 2 release date to be sure they finish it well untill it releases and it doesn’t end like Halo 5’s release.

…they should have never released the MCC, time to move forward, not backward. :sigh:
