When browsing the Sheets doc, there are some things to note:
-Makes sure to click the tabs below for more graphs and information!
-AQR (or the “Arbitrary Quality Rating”) is a simple system I put together to easily compare results. For every “love” vote a helmet gets, it would receive +2 points to the total AQR. For every “like” vote, it would receive +1 point. Meanwhile, every for “dislike” the helmet will receive -1 points. And for every “Hate,” it will receive -2 points. Every “Ok” vote or skipped vote do not affect the score.
-In the survey, every helmet that was identical between Halo 4 and 5 were put together; that way, people would not be asked their opinion on the same helmet over again. The results reflect this with 343’s games being put into three categories: Halo 4 exclusive, Halo 5 exclusive, and shared between Halo 4 and 5. Any significant changes (outside of re-skins) between the Halo 4 and 5 helmet would result in splitting the helmet between each game.

Overall, this was one hell of a project that took me nearly 8 hours to put together. I hope 343 takes this feedback to heart and realize what the community wants when it comes to making their own Spartan’s look badass.
And with that being said, I just want to make a quick note, who cares if a lot of the armor looks ugly? You only wear one helmet, if you can find one helmet that you enjoy the appearance of, then why care about the appearance of every other helmet? Once I unlocked Security in Halo 5 I did not care about any other helmet (btw Security was the 8th helmet I unlocked, making the 215 helmets I had to dig through in my quest to get the Prophet’s Bane absolutely pointless. But I digress). There are over 80 unique helmets you can choose from in Halo 5 (ignoring re-skins). There has to be one you can look at and at least say “Meh, I can dig this.”

Your ‘correction’ is like me saying “it’s” and you responding with “*it is.” What I said is grammatically correct, just not formal. And I wrote it that way just to barely fit in the arbitrary character limit.
This doesn’t surprise me, anything and everything that was made by 343i the bungie fanbois hated. Even if it looked better in every way. Some of the best armor sets (even the ones that look better than the remakes of the old stuff in Halo 5) got downrated, the best sets even were down almost 100 points at the end which means it was clearly one sided. You know the scale is off when they uprated security (which was the worst of halo 3 by a longshot)

Agree. There is a blatant bias and it is really annoying. And as an avid security wearer, I agree that Halo 5’s iteration is the best version so far.
I dont know if this interests you at all but I’m doing a study based off this on a different site. I’ve only done 10 helmets so far and these are my results based off your scoring system
