AFK'ing in Spartan OPS?

I sure hope 343 is going to take care of all the people that do this and reset them. It’s kind of dumb for them to AFK though since they only get like half of what others get for actually playing.

It’s not to big of a deal, it’s just annoying. Please reset these people that do that! Everyone of them, I’ve Muted, Filed a Complain, and Submitted a Player Review against each person I encounter AFK’ing.

Please fix this, they don’t deserve anything if they’re not gonna earn it properly.

Not even half and this is how I tested it.

Played Episode 3 mission 4 with the mantises and used double exp for both trials.

1st run actually playing I got 11,900 exp.

2nd run I idled and got no kills or deaths, etc and earned about 430 exp.

Oh hey, I remember you from last night in Bryce’s Custom lobby. Anyways, there should be a kick timer for AFKers.

I wait for the end of the match and then report them (in case I get reported for AFKing while I am in the reporting logs).

They may not get many points but they DO affect the win/losses of YOUR game. For example a game of Slayer and there are 5 people on each side. Two of your teammates go AFK. That means that the game is now 5 verses 3 and it is only going to be exceptional players on the 3 side that will be able to win.

That is why that when I see two people AFK I just leave the game now. I don’t want to play stupidly unbalanced odds because I am an average player at the best of times.

Oh yeah… +1 for kick timer to open the slot for JIP. Then perhaps I won’t have to quit the game in disgust.

I know, it’s terrible! I LOVE playing Spartan Ops, and every game there’s always an AFK-er. They should be temporarily banned for a day from earning credits to scare them.

Don’t mean to get off topic, but 343I needs to fix the Banshees underground on Shootout in Vallhalla; it’s happened 4 games in-a-row for me :confused:

People should be reset for boosting. They don’t earn anything an they aren’t true fans. They just want to get all the good stuff without working for it.

I hate it when I have to run half way across the map just to get back in the action. Real pain in the -Yoink-.

That’s actually what I was trying to do, but every time I got him out of the building, he would just walk back inside. So annoying.
