why dont afk’ers not get punished?? they can sit through a whole game get all the points and they dont get punished??? i sat for almost an hour because i was busy eating and come back to my xbox and i was still sitting there??? no bans? no credit locks? nothing?
record the video and send it to 343. other then that i doubt they will get in trouble
AFK’ers really get on my nerves in halo, just defeats the point of online play.
Should be an activity timer, not active in certain amount of time, removed from the game. May not always work, but it’s a step against those that put their team at a disadvantage.
A text book case of a moronic action in progress.
Most do earn xp bans. I think that in the last two weeks there have been more because of college exams
Agreed. They need to have a system like a press A to continue searching for a game or something, so they sit in the lobby & not in our games.

This hasn’t seemed to work in certain games with a forced respawn, due to the invention of the rubber band. It works well in a game like Battlefield though, because you need to press x to respawn.
I like AFK people, they don’t resist being assassinated and are all too willing to stand there and die for a cause their team doesn’t support! They’re not as awesome as the people who get in the passenger seat of a warthog so I can score a triple kill, but they’re up there!
and if they’re on the same team, well, they won’t mind it when you team kill them!
agreed though, there should be a “Press A to keep playing” selection after a match.
I mean hell, even Netflix has a “do you want to keep watching?” screen pop up when you’re watching a TV show. Ugh, that’s annoying though.

I really have my doubts on this. I think that through trial and error, players have figured out just how much they need to play to avoid the ban.

Absolutely! I have been suggesting this same thing on numerous forums on this site. This needs to happen!
