I understand your wanting to use AFK’ers for an advantage, but I’d rather they not be in the game and have a full team of playing people.

Just so you know, the AFKer getting a distraction medal does not affect you in any way.
The situation you described could easily happen in any game where someone goes AFK…
The AFKer getting that medal does not make them any more or less bait to the enemies.
If Spartan Ops is like L4D without the whole kick option, I’m sure they’ll be even more hated than before. I hope 343 will address AFK before they ruin social and competitive playlists.
