Apologies if this has been addressed, dear forum goers, but I felt the need to post. It’s been awhile since I’ve been on here. I have a fair few complaints about H4, but I still enjoy the game as a whole. One problem that seems to have gone under the radar, however, is AFK.
Is it just me, or is there no incentive not to go AFK? I’ve had players from start to finish completely idle. No being kicked for inactivity; they’re just sitting there building the other team’s score while I’m down a man. I’m not sure if there’s any “you’re about to get banned” or “probation” sort of method to counter this problem, but I see no effects against AFK.
When I seem to be joining losing games in progress all the time, how are these players not getting kicked and replaced?

There’s not exactly anything that can be done. It’s not like having a system with dedicated servers where an admin can react to inactivity.
I agree it sucks to have people not playing on your team, but in a game with as large a unique server count as Halo, it’s difficult to do anything.
Absolutely untrue.
In Mass Effect 3 the game code was changed for the Multiplayer that kicked after 2 minutes of inactivity.
It “CAN” be done there, whether it can/will be done here is another matter, but I would like to see that happen.
