I believe the large number of AFK/Bot xp farmers is already being worked on, and hopefully a fix of sorts will come out sooner then later.
As I know there isn’t a report issue on PC yet; because of that my friends and I have been recording any xp farmers we’ve seen in grifball.
Specifically getting footage of them running into players or walls, getting stuck in corners, and waltzing in circles. We even have taken screenshots of the end card showing that they have zeros in everything but 28 deaths or so (The farmers that have a timed swing make that rather vain)
What I’d like to know is if this is worth anything, can this footage be used to punish players that have been AFK farming, and maybe give insight on what AFK farmers are doing? If the footage can be used I’d quite like to know where/who I can send it to and if I can format it in a useful manner. If not we can get some extra drive space back and stop wasting our time.
I expect this is the right place to bring this up, sorry if it isn’t. I tried getting help on the official halo discord but I got a less than helpful response so fingers crossed here. I am not looking to argue about any of this. I really hope I am not wasting my time as I only want to help and clean up grifball, thank you.
I got into a game last night where two of us were actually playing Grifball, and were on the same team. Everyone else was AFK botting. We stood and chatted for a couple minutes before finishing the game, lol.

There where a lot of games like that last night I got around 47 GB of video of bots then, seems that there where more then ever. It was fun chatting with people about the problem and watching the the roombas dual it out.
I wish K/d ratios were posted so that we could see who the twerps are. Because more than likely, some people are going to rack up 20 killionares off of them each game.

I do think that’s how they’ll pin most of these guys “This chas has 30 games in a row with no kills assist or bomb plants and a good 1237 deaths what could that mean?”

Imagine putting time into taking screenshots and videos of afk farmers instead of literally doing anything else.
Boosting is wrong yes!, but tbh i dont think its the players fault if 343 -Yoinks!- up this bad with the new progression system thst literally caps your xp at 12 kills.
Remove the xp cap, or AT LEAST put it up to 30k since you get 50+ games with almost no effort and add a report functkon into the game.

When I see a bot I just record it using shadow play it doesn’t take me out of the match in anyway. Like I said in my first post I am not here to argue about the reason people are doing it. I just want to know if they can make use of the footage.

I haven’t called out anyone in the forum nor do I plan too. I was just asking to see if the developers could make use of the footage and how might I get it do them. I don’t report there xbox gamertag because I would have to get the app and do all this extra stuff that I think should be in game on PC; thats why I’ve been recorded them.
